Services for Jessie F. Boothroy, 71, of 3513 Merle Hay Road will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Westover Funeral Home, with burial in Penn Center Cemetery in Earlham.

Miss Boothroy died of cancer Wednesday at Mercy Hospital following a seven-month illness.

A native of Earlham, Miss Boothroy lived in Des Moines 57 years and was a retired clerk. She was a member of Capitol Hill Christian Church and Early Chapel Christian Church in Earlham.

She is survived by a sister, Florence E. Boothroy of Des Moines.
