Sulgrove Services

George B. Sulgrove, a native of Madison county and retired farmer, died at his home in Dexter April 19th, 1973 at the age of 80.

Mr. Sulgrove was born December 3, 1892 in Madison county, the son of William and Eva Jane Sulgrove. He was married September 17, 1921 to Agnes Antle, who preceded him in death, and was later married to Edith French.

Mr. Sulgrove was preceded in death by his first wife, his parents; a sister, Mrs. Lois Moore and four brothers, Lester, Ora, Willard and Everett.

Surviving Mr. Sulgrove are his wife Edith; a son, William Sulgrove of Dexter; a daughter, Mrs. James McClellan of Phoenix, Arizona; four stepchildren, Mrs. Don Henry of Winterset, Mrs. Donald Dwyer of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Vernon D. French, Tucson, Arizona and Robert N. French of Los Angeles, California.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Grace Cahil of Charles City, six grandchildren and ten step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 21, 1973 from Evans Funeral Home in Dexter with burial at Penn Center Cemetery, Earlham.

Rev. Jerry Evelsizer, Dexter United Presbyterian Church, officiated.
