Page 2Final Rites for Garrison
Funeral services for William Garrison, 89, of Indianola were held last Wednesday afternoon, November 19, at the Overton Funeral Home. Interment was in Penn Center Cemetery in Madison County.
Mr. Garrison died November 14th, at the Indianola Good Samaritan Center.
A son of Martha and James Garrison, he was born March 5, 1886, at Eunice, Missouri.
He was married to Bessie Sirdoreus November 25, 1906. They were parents of seven children.
A retired farmer, he had lived in Indianola since 1957 and had previously lived on farms in Warren and Madison counties.
Surviving are his wife, Bessie; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Choate of Houston, Mo., Mrs. Delpha King of Prole, and Mrs. Ellora Hypes of Indianola, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Jones of Nashville, Tenn., and Mrs. Lena Smith of Cabool, Mo., and two brothers, Jack Garrison of Winterset and Clyde Garrison of Scranton, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, three daughters, two brothers, two sisters, 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
