Obituary:
Ivadell Marie Bush, daughter of John William Dodds and Amy Murrel (Smith) Dodds was born August 31, 1917 in Maxwell, Iowa and passed from this life July 15, 2011 at Southern Hills Specialty Care in Osceola, Iowa at 93 years of age.

Ivadell was united in marriage to James Lloyd Bush on September 16, 1939 at Grant City, MO and four children blessed this union. They lived in the Madison Chapel area until 1975. Following Lloyd's death she moved to Osceola in 1976 where she lived until 1998 when she moved to Bedford and lived until 2010.

Ivadell was a member of Madison Chapel Ladies Aid and First Christian Church in Osceola. She took great pride in working next to Lloyd on the farm over the years. She was also a great cook, known for her fudge and famous chocolate pie! However, most of all she will be remembered by her grandchildren as a wonderful Grandma.

Those relatives who preceded Ivadell in death were her parents; husband, Lloyd; son, James; daughter, Carolyn; brothers, Cleo, Darrell, John, Kenneth, Robert and Wesley Dodds; and sister, Dorothy Scotti.

She leaves to cherish her memory: daughter, Sandy (Gordon) Kennedy of Bedford; son, Randy Bush of Truro; nephew, Raymond (Charlene) Crocheck of Boone; grandchildren, Sheila (David) Childress of Liberty Twp, OH, Laurie (Gordon) Orth of Soldotna, AK, Jeff Kennedy of Bedford, Mike (Andrea) Kennedy of Fremont, Tonya Kennedy of Bedford, Grant (Amy) Bush of New Virginia, Heidi (Levi) Hutton of St. Charles, Justin (Michelle) Crocheck of Boone, Jason Crocheck of Clive, Leslie Somers, Erik Somers & Erin Somers- all of Truro; great grandchildren, Payton Childress of Liberty Twp, OH, Shelby & Jesse Rogde of Soldotna, AK, Brett (Rachel) Poore of Clarinda, Amanda & Payton Kennedy of Bedford, Christian Kabler of Bedford, Austin Kennedy of Fremont, Jaylen, Kylie & Kaden Bush of New Virginia, Zoey, Mavrick, Ellie & Fisher Hutton of St. Charles, Summer & Shawn Crocheck of Boone; sister, Stella Perkins of Spirit Lake; other relatives and friends.

Visitation:
Visitation will open at noon on Sunday at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. The family will be present 6:00-8:00 Sunday evening.

Service:
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, Iowa.

Cemetery:
Interment will be in Hartman Cemetery near Truro, Iowa.
