Peru - Mrs. Ross Shetterly received the sad news Friday afternoon of the death of her mother, Mrs. Ed Hoover at a Des Moines hospital after a long illness.

Mr. and Mrs. Shetterly left that afternoon for Des Moines by auto, where they remained until Saturday afternoon when they returned here to make arrangements for the burial services which occurred here Sunday at 11 o'clock from the M.E church, conducted by Rev. G. W. Wood.

Burial was at the Peru cemetery.

OBITUARY

Mrs. Lavina Hoover.

Lavina Jane Hoover, wife of Ed A. Hoover, Thirty-fifth street and Motor avenue, died yesterday afternoon at Methodist hospital. Funeral services were held Sunday morning at Newlen’s funeral home, Fourteenth street and Woodland avenue. The body will be sent to Peru, Ia.
