Mary L. Travis died at Norman, Ok., June 26, 1913, aged sixty-seven years. She was born Dec. 4, 1845 and married to Abner E. Travis on Sept. 18, 1865
She was the mother of nine children, all but one of whom survive her.
The funeral was held at the Congregational church of Breckenridge on Saturday afternoon, June 28, conducted by Rev. C. G. Nelson, of the Hunter M. E. church.
The body was laid to rest in the Cropper cemetery.
Transcriber's note: The Cropper Cemetery is probably the old name of the cemetery as she is listed as being buried at the Paradise Cemetery in Breckenridge, Ok.
Mary, her husband and children lived in Madison County, Iowa for several years.
