Ruth Aldrich died May 15, 2011, at Westbridge Care Center.
Ruth was born June 3, 1919 to Mary (Brayman) and Clarence Brittain in Madison County, Iowa.
Memorial Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 at McCalley Funeral Home in Adel and her family will greet friends for an hour before services.
Burial of her cremated remains will be at North McDonald Cemetery at a later date.
Ruth attended high school in Van Meter, graduating in 1937.
She married Paul Aldrich January 21, 1939.
Ruth is survived by three sons; Wayne of Tucson, AZ, Dennis and Loren of Van Meter; three grandsons, two granddaughters, two great-grandsons, two step-great-grandsons, one great-granddaughter; three sisters; Mary and Carol Brittain and Evelyn Hubbard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers and two sons.
