James L. McDonald, 73, of Clinton, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at his home after a brief illness with cancer.
Mr. McDonald was a former resident of Columbus, Ohio. He was a retired U.S. Air Force traffic controller and a retired computer analyst with the state of Ohio.
His family described him as a man of many talents, artistic as well as technical, who could build a house, garden, photograph and print beautiful scenes, and do much more. Mr. McDonald held an office in the Photographic Society of America for many years. Most of all, he was a kind and good man and will be greatly missed, the family said.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Johnson McDonald; his daughters, Shirley Cernac, Marcelle Cioffi and Stephanie Divine; his stepdaughter, Jady Johnson; his brother, Howard McDonald; and eight grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
The body was cremated.
No service will be held. Anderson County Funeral Home in Clinton is handling arrangements.
