Services were held last Saturday morning for Donald R. Clark of Winterset, who died here Wednesday, August 28. He was 42 years of age.
Donald Ralph Clark was born at Winterset July 27, 1932, the son of Clarence (Jack) and Sophia Pritchard Clark. A resident of Madison County for most of his life, Mr. Clark graduated from Winterset High School in 1951. While a student there he was active in all sport endeavors.
Mr. Clark served with the US Navy from 1952 to 1961 and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was married to Charle Ann Seal at Winterset on August 19, 1969 and is survived by her.
Other survivors include his mother, Sophia, a stepson, Howard Wayne Seal, at home; and three sons and a daughter from a previous marriage: Preston, Zac, Paul and Kristal Clark, all of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Mr. Clark was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. last Saturday, August 31 at the Collins Funeral Home in Winterset, with Pastor Lon Reising officiating. Burial with military grave-side services was in the Chase - McDonald Cemetery.
