Maud Cornell Rites Friday

Services for Mrs. Maud E. Cornell, 75, of 717 Arthur ave., will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Friends Church, E. Thirteenth and Lyon streets. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Cornell died of a heart attack Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Kehoe, 2525 Beaver ave.

Born in Madison County, she was a Des Moines resident 61 years. She was active in the Women's Service and Dorcas Missionary Circles and Berean Class of First Friends Church.

Survivors include another daughter, Mrs. Winnifred Rhoads of Des Moines; a brother, Orland Chadwick, Denver, Colo.; a sister, Winnifred Chadwick, also of Denver, and five grandchildren.
