Services for Kenneth C. Cummings, 40, of 5325 N. W. Seventy-eighth court, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crestwood Baptist Church, with burial at the Winterset Cemetery.
Mr. Cummings died Friday at Veterans Hospital of cancer. He was ill six weeks.
He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and lived in Winterset before moving to Des Moines 20 years ago.
He was the owner of Ken's Body Shop in Des Moines and attended the Crestwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, JoAnn; three children, Kenny, jr., 13; Danny, 12, and Christy, 10, all at home; and three brothers, Alfred of Atlanta, Ga., Robert of Enid, Okla., and Wayne of Meadow Vista, Calif.
The family asks that any memorials be made to the Crestwood Baptist Church.
