Audra Coil

St. Charles, Ia. - Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church for Audra Coil, 87, of St. Charles, who died Tuesday evening at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

He was a retired buyer of walnut lumber.

Survivors include his wife, two sons, three daughter, including Sandra Potter of Des Moines, 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Audra Coil Death In Des Moines

A resident of St. Charles, Audra Lee Coil, 87, died Tuesday, May 16, 1978 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. He was born December 5, 1890 in Flag Springs, Missouri.

Mr. Coil was married to Ruby Frazier. They had three children. He was affiliated with the Baptist Church at Flag Springs and was occupied in St. Charles with the purchase of wood, including walnut logs.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby of St. Charles, a son, Fred Lee Coil of Tucson, Arizona, two daughters, Sandra Potter of Des Moines and Eva Coil Johnson of Hollywood, California; a step-daughter, Betty Gage of St. Petersburg, Florida, step-son, Richard Brock of Chino, Calif., thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Mr. Coil was preceded in death by his parents, and three half brothers, John Marvin and Arthur Ball.

Funeral services for Audra Coil were conducted Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m. from the United Methodist Church in St. Charles, with burial at the St. Charles Cemetery. Officiating was the Rev. Rolland Trowell.
