Mrs. Irene Hoots

Mrs. Irene Hoots, 86, of 2712 Thirtieth St., died of a heart ailment Sunday at the Americana Nursing Center, 300 Laurel St., after a three month illness.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial in a cemetery at Winterset.

Born in Huntsville, Ark., Mrs. Hoots was a resident of Des Moines for 54 years and a member of Rebekah Lodge and Union Park Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Clyde, of West Des Moines; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
