Sarah Inice Beardsley, age 95, of Heber Springs, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Southridge Nursing Home. She was born in 1914 in Winterset, Iowa, to Myrtle and Sarah Brock.
She worked for several years as executive housekeeper in Des Moines, Iowa.
She is survived by two daughters, Kay (Chuck) Middleton of Norwack, Iowa and Jean (Ron) Norman of Heber Springs; one son, Jim (Kim) Beardsley, also of Heber Springs; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be cremated and a graveside service will be held with family and friends in Peru, Iowa over the Memorial holiday weekend.
