Wednesday, August 23, 1995, page 2W. J. "Bill" Walker,75, formerly of Washington and Keota, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 1995, in Winterset Care Center North, Winterset, after a long illness.
Memorial services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, United Presbyterian Church, Washington, where friends may call after the service. His body was donated to the University of Iowa for medical research.
Graveside services will be at a later date.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Miksch Walker; three sons, David of Arkansas City, Kan., Thomas of Burlington, Ky., and Joseph of West Des Moines; a daughter, Mary Lou Golgert of Hastings, Neb.; two stepdaughters, Julia Bates of Saint Marys City, Md., and Melanie Kenyon of Muscatine; two stepsons, Charles Miksch of Cedar Rapids and Mark Miksch of Washington, Iowa; and a sister, Maurine Larsen of Washington, Iowa.
