Mrs. Maude Gordon Fielder, who died at her home in Dexter, was brought to the McGinnis cemetery on Friday for burial.

The body was accompanied by her husband and children, F. M. Fielder, Dorothy, Pearl and Claud. A sister, Miss Jennie Gordon of Dexter and two brothers: Tim of Des Moines and Bert of Lamoni, were also present.

Mary M. Gorden was born in Madison County, Iowa, May 28th 1873. She passed to her heavenly home October 26th, 1921, at the age of 48 years and 5 months.

July 11, 1906 she was united in marriage to Mr. Frederic M. Fielder, of Omaha, Nebraska. They resided there until six years ago, when they came to Guthrie County, Iowa. To this union three children were born: Dorothy, age 14 years; Pearl, age 12, and Claude age 10.

She was a good Christian woman, a loving wife and mother, a good neighbor, and loved by all who knew her. She was one of a family of twelve children, six living and five deceased.

Our loss is Heaven’s gain.
