Rites For Farlow

Eldred Eugene Farlow of Upper Glade, W. V., formerly of Winterset, died Thursday, August 30. Funeral services were held Sunday, September 2, at Adams Funeral Home at Cowan, W.V., with Rev. Robert Bondurant officiating.

Burial was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Cowan.

Born April 20, 1936 in Winterset, Mr. Farlow lived here until he joined the Navy at the age of 17. He was retired from the Navy and was a member of DAV, FRA and the Non-Commissioned Officers Association.

Surviving are his wife, Geneve, sons, Troy, Todd and Ty, all at home and Jim, Randall, Jeff and Rick, all of Osceola; his mother, Mrs. Eleanor Hiskey, of Patterson; a brother, Kenneth of Florissant, Missouri; sisters, Mrs. Dayna Decker of Lorimor, Mrs. Linda Thornburg of Kenosha, Wisc., and his grandmother, Mrs. Nell Harriman of Kanawha.

He was preceded in death by his father Myers Farlow and two brothers, Randall and Jerry Farlow.
