St. Charles - MRS. MARGARET AMANDA SHIGLEY

Mrs. Amanda Shigley, of the Broad Horn neighborhood, who was taken to Clarinda last winter for treatment, died the latter part of last week. Her remains were brought here last Saturday and funeral services were held on the Sabbath in the Broad Horn church. Her remains were laid to rest in the St. Charles cemetery, west of town.

Ohio Township - AMANDA SHIGLEY

Several from this vicinity attended the funeral of Mrs. Amanda Shigley at the Baptist church Sunday afternoon. The services were conducted by Rev. Williams of St. Charles and interment at that place. At Saint Charles, this funeral procession was combined with that of Mrs. James Clanton of California and was a double procession to the cemetery. Mrs. Shigley was one of the oldest resident of the Broadhorn neighborhood.
