Funeral Services Being Conducted in Lutheran Church Here Today
Friends and relatives were saddened to hear of the sudden death of Lawrence Fett Sunday morning, October 14, while visiting in the home of his cousin, Mrs. Calvin Maurer, in Dover, Ohio. He and his mother, Mrs. Emma Fett, had gone to Ohio to visit relatives the preceding week, Lawrence’s death putting an untimely end to the visit.
Heart trouble was given as the cause of the death, it appearing to have been an illness of long duration, although Lawrence had never been known to complain. He had been employed in the Chas. Hildrick grain office the past few years, where he had been a faithful employee.
Lawrence Frederick Fett was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fett, July 29, 1913, the youngest of five children.
His father passed away two years ago. He is survived by his mother, three sisters, Eldora, Esther, and Mary, and one brother, Francis. Eldora and Esther are at home.
Mary, who is employed in Cleveland, Ohio, and Francis, who has been employed in Dover, Ohio, accompanied their mother home for the funeral services, which are being conducted this afternoon, Wednesday, at 1:30 at the home and 2 o’clock at the Lutheran church. Burial will be in the Penn Center cemetery.
