Friday, August 19, 1910Obituary -
Jessie Ann Hardenbrook Stuart was born October 3, 1880, and died at her home at Kamiah, August 11, 1910. The deceased was born in the state of Kansas and her early life was spent in that state, Mo. and Iowa. She moved with her father to Idaho in 1901.
She was left motherless when two years old and was reared under the tender guardianship of her aunt, Mollie Hardenbrook.
She was united in marriage to Arthur J. Stuart on July the 30th, 1901. Her husband, five children, Addie, Dee, Mary Louisa, Harold and Jessie Irene, her father Thos. Hardenbrook and her brother, Fred Hardenbrook survive her.
She united with the Presbyterian church at Laclede, Mo. at the age of twelve years and has lived the life of a true Christian in the true sense of the word. By her kind acts she has gained a host of friends, who unite with the sorrowing husband and children to mourn her untimely death.
Mrs. Stuart was Past Noble Grand of the Rebekah lodge and the last sad rites of that fraternity were read at the grave.
Transcriber's note: Jessie, her parents and siblings lived in Madison County in the 1880's. Burial was at the Kamiah Cemetery, Kamiah, Idaho.
