Page 6Clifford Ackelson died at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Arie Lilley, Saturday.
The funeral was held at the M.E. church Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Cook, of the Church of God. The music was furnished by the choir from the same church. Burial was made in the Peru cemetery. Mrs. Ackelson has the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.

Page 7Denny Clifford Ackelson was born September 9, 1902, and he departed this life September 10, 1927, at the age of 25 years and one day in Peru, Iowa.
He was united in marriage September 29, 1923, to Edith Lilley, of Peru. He leaves to mourn for him his wife, mother and father, four brothers, Forrest, of Newton, Emery, Harold and Ilot, of Peru; also four sisters, Pearl Rankins and Millie Miller, of Mitchellville, Bertha Leaseman, of Barney, and Madeline, of Barney, also a host of relatives and friends.
Clifford spent all of his life in and around Peru, except two years spent at Newton. He was well liked by all his friends and will be missed greatly in this vicinity.
