Saturday, November 21, 1992Johanna Gail White, 92, died Nov. 19, 1992, in the Park Place Care Center, Raytown, where she lived. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Winterset (Iowa) Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Mount Moriah & Freeman Chapel. The family suggests contributions to the Kansas City Hospice or the Park Place Care Center.
Mrs. White was born in Winterset and lived in Des Moines, Iowa, before moving to this area in 1943.
She taught elementary school in Adel, Iowa, in 1924. She attended the Des Moines Community College and was a member of Delta Chi Delta sorority. She was a Methodist.
Her husband, Edward Beard White, died in 1980. Survivors include two sons, Richard E. White, Pearl River, La., and Harry A. White, Raytown; a daughter, Marjorie J. Barnes, Kansas City; a sister, Dorothy Prunty, Carlisle, Iowa; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
