Death of David Wesley Evans

David Wesley Evans, the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Evans of Scott township, died last Thursday, April 14th. The little fellow was born April 10th, and had never been strong, living only five days.

Funeral services were conducted at the Evans home, Friday afternoon, at two-thirty o’clock by Rev. D. J. Shenton, and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.

Little David Wesley, infant son of Earl and Virgie Evans, came to earth April 10th, 1927, making a short stay of only five days with them.

God took our baby away April 14th, 1927, to shine with his jewels in a fairer world, thus making a jewel of our own to bind us to that fairer world.

Funeral services were conducted at the home at 2:30 p.m., on April 15th by Rev. D. J. Shenton of the Winterset M.E. church. Interment was in the Winterset cemetery.
