MRS. DAVID CUMMINGS.

Nancy McKee Cummings was born near Crawfordsville, Iowa, June 1, 1857, and died near Winterset, May 17, 1916, at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 17 days. She was united in marriage to David Cummings, April 10, 1876. To this union were born six children, four sons and two daughters: Ed of Trenton, Iowa; Fred and Mrs. Mary Cooper of Winterset; Charles of East Peru, Mrs. Eva Landers of Bevington and Rolla at home.

She united with the United Presbyterian church at Crawfordsville when a young girl, and in 1895 united with the M. E. church, it being the closest church and lived a faithful member until God called her Home. She leaves to mourn her loss, a bereaved husband, four sons,s two daughters, ten grandchildren, an aged mother, two brothers and five sisters; her father, one brother and one sister preceeding her.

The funeral services were held at the home May 19th, conducted by Rev. Aten of Patterson, and after the services she was laid to rest in the Winterset cemetery.
