HARRY LEE

Harry Lee, youngest son of Mrs. Urilla Lee, died on Monday afternoon, Mar. 20, at 5:30 at his mother's home. He was born in Winterset nearly 43 years ago graduating with the class of 1890.

Twenty five years of his life have been spent as an actor, character parts being his specialty. Four years ago, a tubercular trouble set in, which terminated fatally. After closing the summer engagement with the Lester Lindsey company last fall, he wintered in Colorado, leaving there for Winterset seven weeks ago, when his health had begun to fail. The funeral services occurred today at three o'clock.

Harry Lee Dies

Harry Lee died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Urilla Lee, on West Green street, Monday evening at six o’clock. The funeral occurs this afternoon at three o’clock at the residence.

Harry had been in poor health for several years. He came home two or three months ago, stricken with consumption and failed rapidly.

He went on stage soon after reaching age and followed that profession ever since. He was a member of the Chase-Lester Company in recent years.

He was born in Winterset and was educated in the public schools. He was a man if unusual ability and if his health had not failed, would have made a mark in his profession.

He is survived by his mother, his sisters, Misses June and Bess Lee, Mrs. Neil Graham, all of Winterset, Mrs. Ida Collins, of Chariton, and his brother, Fred Lee, of Lamar, Colorado.
