Page 1Mrs. John Lent, who was better known here as Mrs. Fred Johnson, died Sunday evening at her home at Murdock, Minnesota. Mrs. Lent, who was the mother of Mrs. Claude Mills, formerly lived near the Holliwell bridge in Scott township. The body was brought here for burial and short services were held at the Winterset cemetery yesterday morning.

Mrs. John Led, mother of Mrs. Claude Mills, died at her home in Murdock, Minnesota. The body was brought to Winterset for burial Wednesday morning. Mrs.Led was formerly Mrs. Fred Johnston of Scott Township.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Youngquist, Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bishop, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Johnston of Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnston, Washington, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hoyer, and Mr. and Mrs. Johnston, Mr. Seigert and son, Russell of Burnside, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Irish, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Johnston, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kirby of Des Moines were present at the burial.
________________________Transcriber's note: Records indicate this is Ida Sophia Johnson Led, b. June 4, 1858, d. Aug. 15, 1926. Gravestone is with 1st husband J. Frederick Johnson, Winterset cemetery.
________________________Coordinator's note: Of all the possible married surnames, "Led" is correct per Minnesota Death records, and Johnson is correct per the gravestone.
