Joseph M. Dorgan, a life-long resident of Lee Township died Sunday, July 1, at Madison Manor South in Winterset. He was 79 years of age.
Mr. Dorgan was a son of Richard and Bridget Dorgan, and was the last surviving member of that family. Nearest relative is a niece, Mrs. Marcella Harkin of Norwalk.
His active life was spent farming in Lee Township. He never married.
Funeral services were held July 3 from St. John’s Catholic Church in Cummings. Burial was made in St. Patrick’s cemetery in Lee Township.
