Page 1Death of FLETCHER DEAL
Mr. Fletcher Deal, son of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Deal, of Jackson township died suddenly yesterday noon, of acute peritonitis. He was unmarried and lived with his brother, Frank on the old T. L. Karr place in Greenbrier which they bought not long ago. Fletcher was taken ill with acute abdominal pains last Thursday but got better and was able to drive to Jefferson and see a physician the next day. He grew rapidly worse, and died at the home of his father and mother. He was a young man of highest character, industrious, straightforward, and beloved by a wide circle of friends.
Mr. Deal will be remembered here as a Scott township young man who moved from here to Green county twelve years ago. - The Jefferson Bee.
