Dr. T. F. Kelleher of Des Moines died Sunday night at a Battle Creek sanitarium. He had been failing in health for the past year or more and his death was not unexpected.
Dr. Kelleher who was one of the leading physicians of Des Moines was well known to many Madison county people. Mrs. Kelleher who died a few years ago was a daughter of the late John Cunningham of Crawford township. His son John operates one of the Kelleher farms near Bevington.

Dr. Thos. F. Kelleher, 61, died Monday at his home, 941 Eighth street, after a long illness due to arterio sclerosis.
He was born in Lawrence, Mass., in Feb. 1855, moving to Iowa City in 1868 where he graduated from the medical department of the state university ten years later.
He lived in Bevington and Fonda before coming here in 1885. He was well known among physicians of the state.
In 1886 he wedded Miss Anna Cunningham here. Mrs. Kelleher died in 1913. Five children, all living here survive him. They are: Mrs. Mary Donahue, Anna Kelleher, Thomas, John and Lewis Kelleher.
Dr. Kelleher was taken to Battle Creek eight months ago, remaining there three months.
He was a director of American Life Insurance Co. until a few months ago. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic church and affiliated with the democratic party.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 10 o'clock from St. Ambrose Cathedral. Interment at St. Ambrose cemetery.
