James A. Hanrahan, a long time resident and respected citizen of Lee township, died suddenly on last Thursday. He fell dead from a stroke of apoplexy while doing chores and was discovered by members of the family when he failed to come to the house at supper time. To all outward appearances, he was in fair health and his sudden death came as a severe shock to his family and friends.

Note: Burial was made in the St. Patrick's cemetery.
