Pg 1Mrs. Margaret Guiberson, widow of the late John I. Guiberson, died at the home of Mrs. Hattie Bowlin on Monday, at the age of 76 years. She was the last surviving member of the James and Elizabeth Harris family who came to Madison county from Indiana in 1855 and settled on a farm in Scott township. She was married in 1872, but no children were born to this union. However, a niece, Mrs. Gladys Caudle, was taken into the home in infancy and tenderly cared for and reared to young womanhood. The husband preceded her in death in 1919. In early life she became a member of the Church of Christ, remaining in that faith to the end. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church on Tuesday, conducted by Rev. D. J. Shenton, and burial was made in the McDonald cemetery.
