Mrs. Rachel Reeder, who was stricken with paralysis on Christmas day, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Church in Des Moines, Wednesday morning at the advanced age of 86 years. She leaves her daughter, with whom she had been spending the winter, and one sister, Mrs. Rufus Clark of Winterset. The husband preceded her in death five years ago.

Funeral services will be held from the home in southwest Winterset on Friday at one o’clock, conducted by Rev. F. C. McCallon of the Church of Christ. The W.R.C. of which the deceased was a loyal member for many years, will attend in a body.
