Mrs. Percy Wolverton passed away at 10:30 o’clock Monday morning, at her home on South Seventh avenue. She had been ailing for the past three months, but became much worse about three weeks ago, death coming at the age of 76 years.

She is survived by her husband and two sons, Albert and Charles Sankey, by a former marriage. Funeral services were conducted from the home Wednesday afternoon by Rev. D. J. Shenton of the Methodist church.

Elizabeth Gulick Wolverton

Elizabeth Gulick was born in Warren county, New Jersey, May 30, 1848.

She was married to J. W. Sankey October 17, 1867, at Sheffield, Illinois. To this union was born two sons, Robert H. Sankey and Charles A. Sankey. J. W. Sankey departed this life in 1907 on May 31.

Mrs. Sankey was married to Percy Wolverton in 1909 on September 27. Mrs. Wolverton died Monday, October 20th at her home in Winterset.

The funeral was held Wednesday, October 22nd by Rev. Shenton.
