The body of Grandma Gillespie, who died March 9, 1915, was brought to Peru on Thursday. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. McElvey. Interment was in the Peru cemetery. Mother Gillespie was one of the early settlers of Walnut township.
