About two years after their marriage the Tusha’s located on a farm two miles southwest of Winterset, and the school nearby is still known as the Close farm in Scott township, now owned by T. C. Doak. They retired from the farm to live in St. Charles and later moved to New Mexico, to be near their son, Ed Tusha of Elida, Mrs. Ed Allen of Clovis.
