Mrs. S. Beardsley, a resident of Barney for 35 years, died on Feb. 25th at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. T. Dutcher of Des Moines. Burial took place at Barney on Tuesday. Mrs. Beardsley, who was 80 years of age, was a well known woman in her community by reason of her long life there and the good qualities which endeared her in her friends and neighbors.
