Kathryn Deloris Haynes was born Aug. 1, 1922 and departed this life Jan. 4, 1923 at the age of 5 months and 3 days, at her home near Peru. All that loving hands could do was done, but the loving Father needed another jewel for His crown. Those left to mourn her loss are her father and mother, one sister, Darlene; two grandmothers, one great grandmother, one grandfather, three great grandfathers, and a host of friends and loved ones.

Her funeral was conducted from the Methodist church at Peru Friday. Interment was in the Peru cemetery.
