Page 4, Column 6The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Purcell, whose illness from diphtheria was reported in this paper last week, died on Saturday morning, October 30, age 10 years, 5 ms, and 21 ds.
The case was one in which the disease, diphtheria, was in aggravated form and refused to yield to medical treatment. The only other case, that of the Banks child, gives promise of immediate recovery.
