A. H. Bishop, after an illness of but few days duration, passed away Thursday morning. All the medical skill could do, or loving hands administer was of no avail, and spirit winged its flight to he who gave it.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 11 a. m.. at the M. E. church in Hanley, of which he had been a devoted and constant member many years, conducted by a former pastor, Rev. A. E. George of Carlisle.
Mr. Bishop was a man widely known and had everyone for a friend and his loss will be humbly felt by not only his immediate dear ones, but by the community at large. His remains were laid to rest in the St. Charles Cemetery.
