Rites Held for William Palmer

Funeral services were held May 1 in Adel for William Palmer who dies April 29 at Northwest Community Hospital in Des Moines.

William H. Palmer was born November 13, 1903, the son of Archer and Ollie Shaver Palmer. He attended the Earlham schools and was a lifetime farmer.

Survivors include two aunts, Mrs. Laura Richardson and Mrs. Clara Palmer. He was preceded in death his parents and one sister, Geneva.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at the Fisher Funeral Home in Adel with Rev. C. T. Potter officiating. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery, north of Winterset.
