E. W. Duff received a telegram on Monday, announcing the death of his sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank L. Pratt of Drovers’ Grove, Ill. Mrs. Pratt was formerly Miss Mamie McManus and was born and raised in Bevington. She was a sweet, lovable girl and had a host of friends here who will deplore her sad death in the mourning of her life. She leaves a husband, who was most kind and devoted to her and two children, Raymond aged six and a baby girl three weeks old, also a mother, Mrs. F. McManus and a sister, Mrs. J. L. Smith of Chicago. Death was due to typhoid fever. Interment will take place in Chicago, Wednesday morning.
