DAVID FLEMING, Knoxville

David Gene Fleming, 61, of Knoxville died Aug. 30, 2010, at his home.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 3, at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville with Pastor Doug Brady officiating. Burial was at Clark Cemetery in rural Madison County. Online condolences may be made at bertrandfuneralhomes.com. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.

David Fleming was born April 25, 1949, in Winterset to John and Betty (Cook) Fleming. He grew up in Winterset, graduating with the Winterset High School class of 1967. David was a veteran of the United States Army where he attained the rank of sergeant.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by a sister, Debbra Ellis of Lucas, and two brothers, Daniel Fleming of Garnavillo and Donald Fleming of Las Vegas, Nev.
