Margaret Howell, a pioneer of this place, died Saturday night at her home, three miles northwest of town, after a week’s illness, although having been in poor health for the past year.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock from the home, conducted by Rev. Eastman, and interment made at the Montpelier cemetery.
All of the children were present except James B. of Flagler, Colo. In this sad death, the community loses one of its most highly respected citizens and we extend to the family our heartfelt sympathy in their bereavement.
