Donald Gene Kinkennon, born April 24, 1934, to Frank and Ethel Kinkennon, died August 16, 2010.
He graduated from Winterset High School, and was a veteran of the Iowa National Guard. He worked throughout his life as a mechanic and active father.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Joyce, and his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lois; four siblings; five children; four step-children; and numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
