Irene Frueh, 85, of St. Charles died Aug. 22, 2010, at Winterset Care Center North.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Indianola. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Churchville. Visitation will be from 4–8 p.m. today (Wednesday, Aug. 25) at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola, where family will receive friends from 6–8 p.m. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Catholic Charities or Winterset Care Center North. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Frueh.
She is survived by her children — Robert Frueh of Indianola, Marilyn Frueh of Osceola, Frank Frueh of Newport, Wash., Karen Hildebrand of St. Charles, Becky Quigley of Indianola, and Jim Frueh of Adel; a sister, Dorothy Jeffries of Des Moines; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
