Death of Mrs. Adam Sidell

Mrs. Adam Sidell, of St. Charles, an old and highly respected citizen on Madison county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charley Cleland, at Bevington last Saturday after a short illness. Mrs. Sidell came to Winterset last Thursday on the freight train to attend the W.R.C. convention. She went to the home of Lot Wilson where she was taken suddenly ill. Mrs. Wilson wanted to call in a doctor but she insisted on going to the home of her daughter at Bevington. Mrs. Wilson hitched up their team and got her to the depot in time to return on the same train that brought her here.

The funeral was held from the home of her daughter on Monday morning and interment was held in the St. Mary’s cemetery.
