Harvey Graves of southwest Fifty sixth street, Des Moines, died at Mercy hospital at 3:15 p.m., May 3d. His death resulted from heart failure following an operation for appendicitis. Deceased was a native of Iowa, having been born on a farm near Winterset in Madison county, on August 27, 1852. When a small boy, he moved with his parents to Polk county, where he has since resided. He leaves surviving him, four daughters.

Note: Burial was made at Pleasant Ridge cemetery, Warren county, Iowa.
