Warren Bellis Brown, son of Frank W. and Ada Brown was born in Madison county, Iowa, Oct. 27, 1907 and died in Des Moines, April 28, 1914, aged 6 years, 6 months, 1 day.
His sickness was of more than a year's duration. Miss Nellie Brown returned from Des Moines, where he was taking treatment, with him on Saturday evening, April 25th, but he was suddenly taken worse and Mr. and Mrs. Brown returned to Des Moines with him on Monday morning, but with all their loving care they could not save the little life and he passed away at the home of Mr. Brown's sister, Mrs. C. C. Bowlsby, on Tuesday, and the remains were brought to Winterset for burial on Wednesday morning.
The funeral services were held in the M. E. church at 2:30, conducted by Rev. Hohanshelt, and interment made in the Rock City cemetery.
Warren was a sweet, lovable child, and always patient through his sufferings. He leaves a mother, father and baby sister and many relatives to mourn his untimely death. Their loss is Heaven's gain.
