Lula May Pratt was born Sept. 21, 1892 and died March 9, 1914, age 21 years, 5 months and 18 days. She was born and raised in Madison county and was married to Homer Thompson, March 21, 1910. To this union was born one son who died in infancy.
Lula May was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Pratt and was at home during her sickness and death. She seemed to be real well until her health failed a month ago. She was always kind and true and was surely an example of patience and love. She had charity for everybody, always a good word for everyone she knew. She was cheerful all through her sickness and had no fear of death, and said she was ready to go.
She leaves to mourn her death, a father, mother, husband, three sisters and one brother, Edna, Helen and Orville, who reside at home and Mrs. Davisson Bertholf of Muncie, Ind.
Funeral services were held at the home of her parents, on March 12th at 1 p.m., conducted by Rev. L. F. Davis. Interment was in the Rock City cemetery.
