Jessie Maud Doty, daughter of Jake and Belle Doty, died at Des Moines Friday, Jan. 13th, aged 18 years, six months and four days. The remains were brought to Macksburg, Saturday to the home of her uncle, Frank Doty where the funeral was held on Sunday. Miss Doty had been sick for several weeks with typhoid fever at a hospital in Des Moines.

Note: Burial was made in the Moon cemetery.
